Introducing Tables  (from Database) to Netigma


In this page, how database tables are transferred to the Netigma environment, is explained. This process can be seen as: steps for the transformation of the tables, into Netigma object.

The Database Table List is inside the Frameworks submenu that is inside the  Administration menu that are in the form of drop-down lists.

When the Database Table List is clicked, the table field appears.

  •  Object Exists coloumn shows the existed tables of Netigma.
  •  The Table/View field shows whether the object is table or view and indicates which type of obeject it is.
  •  The Type field shows the type of the corresponding table. There are three types of table: Data Table, Netcad Spatial, LRS (Line).





Tables to be transferred to Netigma are selected from Database Table List. The information of the selected table is displayed in the right panel. Click Table - Show Object Differences button to define this table to Netigma. Then

Meta and Related Database Table Differences panel will open. When the desired columns are selected to transfer to the Meta, click the Save button, then object identification will be done in Meta. 

Columns (objectid or similar ID) carry the primary key qualities, from the columns of the Ada* table, should be marked as primary key. 


The existense of the table as an object can be controlled from the Object Existence column. As it is seen the figure above, Netigma has an object named Ada. The introduced object, e.g. Ada, can be accessed from Administration -> Framework Operations -> Object List.


The saved object appears as:


When the Ada table (the example table) is added to Netigma, the form, query page and query associated this table, are automatically created.


When the object is selected and clicked on the Forms button , the following screen will be opened. As it is seen that, the Ada Info Form has been added automatically during object creation.

When the object is selected and the Query Pages button is clicked, the following screen will be opened. Ada Query Page is automatically created.

When the object is selected and the Queries button is clicked, the following screen will be opened. Ada Querries is automatically added during object creation.
