Creating Developed Digital Terrain Model Procedures

Floored points and objects to be input for the triangle model shall inform the user by analyzing even before creating a model, truer digital terrain models shall be created by considering these analysis results with parameters entered.

Results closest to reality shall be obtained by considering floor difference between points to create digital terrain models and proximity criteria into account.

External boundaries of the intended digital terrain models can exist as concave or convex; areas not to be trussed in the model shall be designated throughout the procedure the most appropriate modeling of project sites shall be ensured.

Digital Terrain Model Control and Regulation Procedures

Erratic floors can be automatically detected and corrected in accordance with parameters fixed after creating digital terrain model. Netsurf automatically detects non-conforming points according to the parameters fixed, automatically calculates and suggests correct values and collectively corrects them.  All these procedures realized in dynamic structure with graphical display.

Requested triangle model points can be erased on digital terrain model and it is also ensured to include new points to the model.   All these procedures dynamically calculated over the digital terrain model created. Points erased or added to the model are instantly integrated into the model. Multiple lines added on the digital terrain model can also be integrated to the ready to use model.

Gaps remaining between created distinct terrain models can be automatically trussed by referring to existing triangle models. By this way, they shall be made a single model by automatically adding triangles to gaps between triangle models separate from each other.

Every kind of objects in indefinite number of different floors over the previously created digital land model can be easily integrated to the selected model.

Transporting Surface Selected Inside the Digital Terrain Model and Creating model Points

Surfaces both inside and outside the requested area from a digital terrain model created can be converted to a new model by cutting. With these tools integration of a surface to another surface can be ensured.

Developed Cross Section Production and Plotting Cross Section Procedures

Cross sections can be created with newly developed cross section creating capabilities points where details intersected, point where details deflected and with many different parameters.

It is possible to dynamically create cross sections over multiple digital terrain model with a single procedure in the same project.

Cross sections can be displayed on plan and preview window before creating.

Cross sections printouts can be easily created according to the requested parameters with advanced cross section plotting capacities.

Alternative Volume Calculations and 3D Monitoring of Its Results

Alternative volume calculation methods can be realized; “Prismatic Volume” can also be calculated with Netsurf 7 together with volume calculations from classical cross sections.

Also unlimited number of surfaces or volumes between given unlimited fixed floors can also be easily calculated and results can be reported.

Surfaces and cross sections of every scales designed are displayed in 3D environment in any moment of the project with three dimension support.

“NETSURF” carries out a wide variety of analysis operations based on calculations and elevation values on the realization of the current map production with all stages, forming the digital land model from the field data; Netcad module which is able to generate co-potential curves, cross sections and cross sections

It allows to create digital terrain model

Digital terrain model (triangle model) can be created with various interpolation methods from point values having height values taken from the site with GPS, Totalstation etc. metering devices.

It automatically reads minimum and maximum floor values in the project while creating digital terrain model, it is possible to create intended triangle and entering longest and shortest triangle side parameters and creating digital terrain models between requested height values.

It can also use floor values of the current data on site as input for creating terrain model, with thanks to that realistic digital terrain models can be created.

Defected floor on the terrain can be fixed by using triangle created and it can automatically correct these defected floors.

It realizes triangle rotation procedure on the triangle model created and allows to lean on details.

It can allow point compaction on triangle model.

It realizes every kind of chamfers and chamfer scans in line with the legislation.

It allows realization of the Trajectory (contour map, equipotential curves) procedures.

It automatically creates contour map curves in requested intervals over digital terrain model.

Floor values of the created contour map curves’ floor values can be printed in requested periods and a predefined line.

Total surface area of a curve intersecting a floor can be calculated, thus surface area of a pond or dam site can be set.

Curves passing through details such as chamfer, building and roads can be automatically or manually deleted.

Cross Section and Longitudinal Section Procedures

Cross sections can be created on requested intervals on the predefined route on digital terrain models.

Requested metrics on right and left arms of the created cross sections can be defined and length of these arms can be limited within the area requested.

Profiles of the cross sections created can be taken.

Created cross section and profiles can be plotted on the display.

Cross sections taken from the same route can be taken from a single drawing in multiple copies.

Dimensional drawing points on drawing can be automatically created.

Cubage Procedures

Cubage calculation can be made amongst the sections.

Volume calculation can be made in an area according to the base floor.
