Stratigraphic Modeling | Fault Order

Faults are sorted according to their age relationships. In the stratigraphic models produced according to the order made, the application order of the faults is produced by applying the old faults first and then the young faults.

The point to be considered when sorting the fault list is that old faults should be at the top and young faults should be at the bottom. This order is the order of applying faults to surface and solid models. The first fault to form in nature is older in age. This order should be applied because the surface or solid model may change again with the young faults that form afterward.
