Create Seam Surface

Create Seam Surface is used to create surfaces considering drilling, lithology and vein levels (top, middle, bottom or lowermost).

This method avails in sedimentary ore bed (coal, phosphate, salt, soda etc.)

OptionDescription
Drilling Points

Coordinate Filter: It is a position filter belonging to drilling/lithology/seam level (top, middle, bottom, lowermost) upon which the surface shall be created. In order for seam levels to be selectable on filter, seam descriptions must be made on drills with Specify Vein Points operation.

Lithology/Seam Filter: It is the filter on which the determination of which lithology or seam unit, upon which the intended surface shall be created, is made. The surface is then created according to selected lithology/seam on coordinate filter.

Cut Surface (Border)

Within Border: It is used to create the part inside or outside the selected border of the surface to be created chosen from graphic interface.

If border selection is carried out while the option is active; surface shall be created inside the border.

If border selection is carried out while the option is not active; surface shall be created outside the border.

Drills from the Project

Open Filter Window: It is activated when the filter window is opened. In filter windows, criteria can be determined according to drill name, depth, feature values, lithology and seam determinations.

Group Filter: Filter can be applied according to drilling groups created in Drills tab under Catalog. Surface is then created taking into account the drills in selected group filter.

Output LayerLayer: The name of the layer, on which the created surface will be saved, is determined.
