Stratigraphic Modelling (New Features)

For the mines that are showing horizontal bedding structures, using lithology and spacing information, geological models can be generated automatically by evaluating rule definitions and structural factors such as geological age, continuity, and relationship between units together with the new NETPROMine Stratigraphic Modeling features.
NETPROMine Stratigraphic Modelling Tools allows to perform following operations. 
  • Correlations between boreholes,
  • Borehole interval definitions entries, 
  • Interval editings and thematic operations,
  • Geological Stack definitions, 
  • Main and sub vein structures can be modeled by merging the interval definitions, 
  • Multiple stratigraphic models can be produced by creating various templates, 
  • Lithological Age, continuity, relations between units, and fault definitions can be made with the model definition by using single window. 
  • Surfaces and stratigraphic models can be created by using the modelling methods such as Inverse Distance, FEM (Finite Element Method), and RBF (Radial Basis Function),
  • It can automatically sort the produced surface and solid models according to geological age and display dynamically,
  • It can limit the produced stratigraphic methods with the topography surface,
  • Modelling can be perform as a borehole group basis,
  • Waste materials within ore veins can be calculated automatically with the "Interval Separation",
  • Variation analysis according to the directions can be made and the variation co-efficient can be calculated, 
  • Borehole neighbor, lithology detail, interval detail, and volume calculation resulting reports can be generated automatically with advanced reporting tools.

Seam/Vein Interval Differentiation is now easier with the new Borehole Correlation

Borehole Correlation feature allows; 
  • All of the boreholes or selected boreholes can be displayed on the new 2B window,
  • Interval definitions can be made on the boreholes, 
  • Borehole lithologies and Interval definitions can be seen as a pattern on the boreholes, 
  • Intervals can be added or updated,

Definition of Intervals with Different Attributes and Displaying Features

Interval Display allows ;
  • Allows defining intervals with different properties such as seam/vein, oxidation, sulfur, alteration etc.,
  • Defined intervals can be displayed thematically on boreholes and on the graphic display,
  • Interval definitions can be displayed as legends, selection of the relevant lithology and intervals can be made on the graphic screen,
  • Defined intervals can be edited practically from the graphic screen or correlation screen.

Automatic Stack Definition Feature

Automatic stacks can be defined according to the age relationships of the lithologies determined in the stratigraphic modeling processes with this feature.
This feature allows;
  • Selection of related lithologies to be stacked can be made, 
  • Selected lithologes starting and ending elevations can be calculated automatically,  
  • Stack starting and ending elevations can be displayed with the display interval feature, 
  • It can list all intermediate lithologies belonging to the stack, other than the lithologies included in the stack definitions,
  • Stratigraphic models can be produced by using the stack definitions.

Ease of Modelling Veins and Sub-Veins with the Merge Intervals Feature 

Merge Intervals feature allows;
  • Ore veins that are defined as a main-vein or sub-vein can be modeled,
  • It can automatically assign merge intervals to the merged interval group,
  • Minimum ore thickness and waste thickness parameters can be made during the interval merge process. 
  • It can determine the areas which veins are going to be merge or seperate with this feature, 
  • Surface and solid models of intervals merged with modeling definitions can be generated automatically.

Templates & Detailed Stratigraphic Rule Definitions with Modeling Definition Screens

Stratigraphic rules can be defined collectively and advanced modeling parameters can be used with the Template and Model Definition screens.
Template & Model Definition screens allows; 
  • Multiple project templates can be created that allow different parameters to be saved within the project,
  • Active project template can be selected, active project template can be used automatically on different screens,
  • Stratigraphic models can be limited with the topographic surface, 
  • A model can be produced within the selected boundary or the selected grid,
  • Different modelling methods (Inverse Distance, FEM, RBF) can be used, 
  • By selecting lithology, interval and coordinates, the selected lithology or intervals can be included in the modeling,
  • Stratigraphic rules can be defined; 
    • Geological age ranking of selected lithologies or intervals can be made,
    • Can define continuity (horizontal) and relationship (vertical) between units,
    • Can include structural elements (faults) in stratigraphic modeling,
    • By choosing ore or ore-bearing lithologies, waste calculation can be made,
  • Advance modelling parameters can be defined, 
  • The type of output that will be produced automatically can be defined as a surface, a solid model, or both.

Automatic Model Creation with Produce Model Feature 

Stratigraphic models can be produced according to the model definitions on the active template. 
Produce Model feature allows;
  • Model can be producud accordion to the boundary selected from the graphic screen, 
  • Model can be produced according to the borehole limts without making another boundary selection,
  • According to the grid distance defined in the advanced settings, the model can be produced to stay within the grid,
  • According to the selected boundary or grid effect distance, the produced lithology or gap surfaces can be automatically extended up to the boundary.

Dynamic Display by Age Order with Model Display Feature

It is used to display the surface and solid models produced after stratigraphic modeling, automatically sorted from young to old according to age, with different display features.
Model Display feature allows;
  • Active template selection, 
  • Display can be made according to surface or stratigraphic model, 
  • Single model, all model or interval display can be made by selection, 
  • It can be used with section operations, 
  • It allows dynamic evaluation after stratigraphic modeling.

Sorting the Faults According to the Age Relations and Applying Multiple Faults on the Surfaces.

Faults can be applied collectively to surfaces produced by stratigraphic modeling during or after modeling.
Add Fault feature allows;
  • Faults can be added to the project by selecting them from the graphic screen or by scanning them in bulk from Excel,
  • Vertical Throw, Horizontal Slip parameters belonging to the Faults can be defined, 
  • The fault plane can be displayed on the model by determining the plane extension amount,
  • It can apply one or more faults to the selected surface collectively,
  • Faults can be applied to selected lithologies, or buried faults can be modeled,
  • Different throw and slope parameters can be defined in different directions,
  • It can produce the fault plane applied to the surface as a vector,
  • By removing the fault plane, a gap can be created in the fault applied area,
  • Different modeling methods can be used when applying the faults to the selected surfaces.

Geostatistic Validation with the Variation Analysis According to Direction 

Variation Analysis is a feature that allows comparison of borehole data (sampling, raw sample) and block estimation values ​​in specified directions and cross-sectional intervals. Cross-sectional comparisons can be made between actual values ​​and estimated values ​​by using different calculation methods with this feature. This feature can be used to analyze the accuracy of geostatistical predictions.
