Description Most laptops have a graphics adapter integrated into the motherboard for the basic graphic display and a faster discrete graphics adapter for more demanding graphics tasks for optimizing battery life. When working with graphically dense NETPROMine applications, changing the graphic adapter mid-process may cause screen and performance problems or program crashes. In addition, the system can install the software with the lower-end video option by default and cannot switch to the high-performance GPU. Configuring the system to always use separate graphics for the software prevents these problems. Solution There are different ways to set up high-performance graphics depending on the video card and software/driver version. You can choose one of the following methods. Windows 10 has the option to assign a high-performance card for this application. This setting is a high-level setting that should work regardless of which graphics card and driver in the system. This feature is not available in Windows 7. Windows Graphics Settings
