Seçilen tek bir yüzeye, fay veya fayları uygulayabilmek için kullanılan araçtır. Bu özellik ile birden fazla fayı, aynı yüzeye tek seferde uygulayabilirsiniz. Fay uygulama işlemi öncesinde tüm fay verilerinin veri kataloğunda faylar bölümü altında eklenmiş olması gerekmektedir.

Fayların yüzeylere veya stratigrafik modellere uygulanabilmesi için en üst kottaki yüzey üzerinden sayısallaştırılması veya okuma işleminde fay köşe noktalarına ait kot değerlerinin en üst kotu temsil etmesi gerekmektedir.

Ayrıca ikinci kural olarak fay düzlemine ait uzatma miktarı ile verilecek olan uzamanın fay uygulanacak olan yüzeyleri kesiyor olması gerekmektedir. It is a tool used to apply fault or faults to a single selected surface. With this feature, you can apply multiple faults to the same surface at once. Before the fault application process, all fault data must be added under the faults section in the data catalog.

Warning

In order for faults to be applied to surfaces or stratigraphic models, they must be digitized on the surface at the highest elevation or the elevation values of the fault corner points must represent the highest elevation during the reading process.

In addition, as a second rule, the extension given by the extension amount of the fault plane must intersect the surfaces on which the fault will be applied.

Fay uygulanacak olan yüzeylerin içerisinde litoloji/aralık ve koordinat bilgisinin bulunması gerekmektedir. Veri kataloğunda Yüzeyler sekmesi üzerinde sağ tuş yapıldığında "Litoloji - Aralık Ekle" işlemi ile seçilen yüzeylere Litoloji/Aralık ve Koordinat bilgilerinin eklenmesi gerekmektedir

Fay Düzlemi Göster	Fay ile yüzeyin kesişim sınırı ve fay düzlemi üzerindeki atım miktarının alan geometrisine dönüştürülerek, fay düzlemine ait sınırların gösterilmesini sağlar. Bulunan bu sınırlar aynı zamanda seçilen kestirim yöntemine göre kestirim işleminde kullanılacak kotlu noktalardır.
Fay Düzlemini Temizle	Yüzeye fay uygulama işlemi sonrasında, fay düzleminin bulunduğu alandaki üçgenlerin temizlenmesini ve yüzey üzerinde boşluk oluşmasını sağlayan seçenektir. Kullanıcı tarafından bu gösterim yöntemi de tercih edilebilir.
Fay Çizim Yönünü Değiştir	Fay uygula işlemi sonrasında, seçilen fay yüzeye uygulanamıyor ise bu özellik yardımı ile çizim yönü değiştirilerek uygulanabilir hale gelmektedir.
Faylar	Yüzeye eklenmek istenen fayların seçildiği alandır. Bu alanda aktif hale getirilen faylar, grafik ekranda seçilen yüzeye eklenir.

Warning

Methods	It enables the production of a new surface with the selected estimation method by using the lithology/interval and coordinates information of the surface to which a fault will be added and the fault plane elevation values to be added to the surface. Detailed information about estimation methods can be found in the Model Definitions section.
Extend	It allows the fault plane to be extended outwards in a wedge shape in the same direction as the plane, by the entered value.
Show Fault Plane	It enables the boundaries of the fault plane to be displayed by converting the intersection boundary of the fault and the surface and the amount of slip on the fault plane into area geometry. These boundaries are also elevation points to be used in the estimation process according to the selected estimation method.
Clean Fault Surface	It is the option that allows the triangles in the area where the fault plane is located to be cleared and a gap to be created on the surface, after applying a fault to the surface. This display method can also be preferred by the user.
Change the Fault Drawing	After the apply fault process, if the selected fault cannot be applied to the surface, it can be applied by changing the drawing direction with the help of this feature.
Faults	This is the area where the faults that want to be added to the surface are selected. Faults activated in this area are added to the selected surface on the graphic screen.

Warning
The surfaces to be faulted must have lithology/interval and coordinate information. When right-clicking on the Surfaces tab in the data catalog, Lithology/Interval and Coordinate information must be added to the selected surfaces with the "Add "Lithology/Interval" operation.
